Photo by KARI HYNES The Thorns North FC 11 Girls Academy soccer team continued its DPL league play last weekend in Post Falls with games against Seattle Celtic G11 DPL and Mt. Rainier FC G11 DPL. The weekend started with a 1-1 draw against the Seattle Celtics. Brightyn Gatten scored the Thorns' only goal with an assist from Mackenzie Dolan. During Sunday's game against Mt. Rainier FC G11 DPL Kylie Lorona scored an early goal with an assist from Presley Moreau (pictured above, at left). Presley scored next for the Thorns with an assist from Riley Greene. After playing the first half of the game as keeper, Mackenzie Dolan started the second half of the game with a quick goal at the start of the half and striker Presley Moreau scored a second goal to bring the final score to 4-0. The Thorns continue their DPL league games next week with a game against EW Surf.
