Wallace high school students met with the self-appointed "Prime Minister of Wallace," Rick Shaffer at the Wallace Inn so student Margot Cotter could conduct a local history interview. Shaffer's historic Wallace home was built in 1892 and later purchased by Wallace attorney and mayor Walter H. Hanson. The home was later in the hands of Nancy Lee Hansen, a city leader who helped save Wallace by adding buildings and homes to the National Historic Register.
