Turkeys & More received two more donations to help vulnerable families at Thanksgiving. Brian Babb of White Pine Wealth donated $1,000 and the Panhandle Kiwanis Club wrote a check for $1,500. Evalyn Adams, founder of the nonprofit organization, said both of these organizations have donated in previous years and their continued support is appreciated. Babb is also a member of the Coeur d'Alene Coeur Group, which helps distribute the turkeys to 20 food banks and agencies serving those less fortunate in Kootenai County. Others wanting to help Fight Hunger and Feed Hope may mail a donation to Turkeys & More, P.O. Box 267, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816; or go to turkeysandmore.org to donate safely online. For more information or to help, please call Adams at 208-765-5535.
