Turkeys and More thanks Charlotte Hooper from the ABC Food Bank in Athol for a donation of $2,000 to help buy turkeys for vulnerable families this Thanksgiving. This generous donation will help the nonprofit reach its goal of $60,000 to purchase 2,000 turkeys to feed about 10,000 people. Turkeys and More coordinator Evalyn Adams said it has been difficult to raise needed funds this year and every amount given adds up to a more joyful holiday for some of our friends and neighbors who are financially challenged.
