The Timbers North FC 09 boys Academy soccer team won the U14 Gold division at the 32nd Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament last weekend. On Saturday the Timbers beat the Missoula Strikers Red 5-0 at Plantes Ferry Sports Complex in Spokane Valley. Isaac Lowder (Mason Taylor assist), Mason Taylor (Lowder assist), Lowder, Luke Fritts (Ayden Cragun) and Stefan Pawlik scored for the Timbers, and Taylor Smith had the shutout. That night, the Timbers beat Missoula FC7-0 at The Fields at Real Life in Post Falls. Kesh Pohlman (Isaac Lowder assist), Brooks Judd (hat trick; one assist from a corner by Mason Taylor), Isaac Lowder (Jake Melun assist) and Taylor Smith (two goals) scored for the Timbers. Taylor Smith and Stefan Pawlik teamed in goal for the shutout. On Sunday morning the Timbers beat the Boise Timbers 5-2. Blake Wise (PK), Brooks Judd (two goals; one assisted by Isaac Lowder), Rowan Wyatt (Blake Wise assist) and Mason Taylor (free kick) scored in the win. In the championship game, the Timbers beat the Glacier Surf Soccer Club 2-0 at Plantes Ferry Sports Complex. Kason Foreman and Mason Taylor (Payson Shaw assist) scored for the Timbers, and Taylor Smith had the shutout in goal.
