Post Falls Park Pond is closed until further notice because of an infestation of Chinese mystery snails, a non-native species. This September 2021 photo was taken when the city of Post Falls addressed Eurasian watermilfoil and Asian mystery snails. "We have eradicated the milfoil in two years but not the snails," Parks and Recreation Director Dave Fair said Monday.
