Turkeys & More thanks Christ The King Lutheran Church and CDA Paving for making $500 donations to buy Thanksgiving turkeys. Turkeys have already been ordered to pass out in November to vulnerable families. In order to have enough money to pay for the 2,000 birds by fall, the nonprofit group needs to raise the money now. Thank you for helping to continue this important tradition of helping the less fortunate in our community. Founder Evalyn Adams said the goal this year is to serve 10,000 family members for this special holiday. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 267, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816; or can be safely contributed online at turkeysandmore.org. For more information, call Adams at 208-765-5535.
