Turkeys & More thanks P1FCU for contributing $500 to help buy Thanksgiving turkeys for 2,000 vulnerable families. Founder Evalyn Adams said all contributions are greatly appreciated as it will require more than $60,000 to pay for the birds and food. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has not held a fundraiser due to limited volunteers who serve on the committee. Therefore, Adams emphasized that any size of donation by those who want to help continue this tradition is a blessing which will help Fight Hunger and Feed Hope. She anticipates the turkeys will serve more than 10,000 of our less fortunate friends and neighbors for this special holiday. Checks will be gratefully received at P.O. Box 267, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816; or can be safely contributed online at turkeysandmore.org. For more information, contact Adams at 208-765-5535.
