Afton Gnesa's goat isn't "halter broke" yet, so it spent a lot of time trying to eat its harness while Afton, 6, tried to shoo her away. Afton was preparing to show her goat and sheep in the 208 Qualifier at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. The livestock competition opened with Ladies Night at 6 p.m. Friday and will close Sunday afternoon with a helicopter flight for the winners.
