The Thorns started off with two games against the Spokane Sounders G2011 Valley. The Thorns won the first game 5-1. Mackenzie Dolan, Presley Moreau and Payton Brennan each had a goal in the first half. Brightyn Gatten scored for the Thorns as they entered the second half and Presley Moreau scored again in the second half on an assist from Brightyn Gatten. In their second game against the Sounders the Thorns won again, 5-1. Olivia Hynes and Presley Moreau each had 2 goals, Kylie Lorona one. Both Payton Brennan and Olivia Hynes each had assists. The Thorns' final game of the weekend was a 5-1 victory over FC Spokane G2011 White Orwick. Olivia Hynes had two goals, the second coming on an assist from Aubrey Sargent. Mackenzie Dolan, Payton Brennan and Riley Greene each scored a goal. Goalkeepers Constance Ovendale, Sophia Harrington and Mackenzie Dolan held the opponents to only two goals last weekend.
