Panhandle Health District gathered unwanted prescription drugs from the community on Oct. 29 as part of a national drug take back coordinated by the DEA. Local authorized sites gathered over 475 pounds according to Katherine Hoyer, communications manager for PHD, and Tracy Poindexter of Northeast Washington Educational Service District.
