The Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance, which manages the Jack Bannon Memorial Fund, presented the Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene with a $1,000 check Friday for its free performance of Handel's "Messiah" at 3 p.m. Dec. 4 at North Idaho College. The Jack Bannon Memorial Fund, established in honor of the late actor and Coeur d'Alene resident, is a scholarship fund to encourage students in their quest to further their creative artistic passions. Awards are in the amount of $500. One award will be given to a high school junior or senior and one to a middle school student.
