The Timbers North 2013 Boys Yellow soccer team won twice and lost once in the 3 Blind Refs soccer tournament in Kalispell, Mont., last weekend. In the first game vs. Missoula Surf the Timbers won 8-2 with goals scored by Maddex Arana (2), Aiden Mojzis (2), Carter Mitchell (2), Nolan Bode and Maverick Sargent. The second game the Timbers fell 5-3 to the Missoula Strikers. Mojzis scored two of the Timbers' three goals, and Arana had the third goal. In the final game the Timbers beat the Sandpoint Strikers 1-0, with Brody Brennan assisting Mitchell on the game's lone goal. Sargent and Tate teamed for the shutout in goal to wrap up the team's spring season.
