A group of about 50 people protests at Independence Point on Tuesday. The Kootenai County Women’s March organized the event, which targeted the overturn of Roe v. Wade and also Gov. Brad Little's signing of the "Fetal Heartbeat Bill," which bans abortions after a baby’s heartbeat is detected. Little is hosting the Western Governors Association's annual meeting that started Tuesday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
