A number of local water polo players who are members of the KROC/CDA Water Polo Club were selected to represent the 2022 Northwest Regional team as part of the USAWP (USA Water Polo) Olympic Development Program (ODP). The regional tournament was held this past weekend in Salt Lake City. Selections from the regional tournament can move on to the National ODP. The U.S. Olympic team is composed of players who progress through the ODP program. The selections include two boys and 13 girls from the Kroc/CDA Water Polo club which practices throughout the year at the Kroc Center facility. The Kroc/CDA team will also be heading to Boise in a few weeks to participate in the Idaho State Water Polo Championships to defend their state title.
