Alannah Patterson, a member of the Post Falls High School cheerleading team, will head to the state championship in Nampa, February 12, with the other 22 members of her team. The team took the Grand Champion trophy last Saturday at the district competition, qualifying them to compete at the state level.

Cheerleading isn't always recognized as an official sport, but the Post Falls High School Cheer Team has proven their athletic prowess. Qualifying as District Grand Champions, the team will compete in Nampa on February 12, and try to claim the state title.
