Saturday’s matchup, part of the inaugural Northwest Invitational at NIC, was hastily arranged Friday morning, after three of the eight schools (all from western Washington), including Owyhee’s opponent, had to pull out because of the threat of poor travel conditions over Snoqualmie Pass.
