Carol Burmeister, MA spent decades teaching in general and special education circles. Currently a board member with the Panhandle Autism Society, she has worked with numerous ASD organizations across the U.S. and Canada. Burmeister served as editor and helped author the recently released "Life After Lockdown - Resetting Perceptions of Autism."

Book shares lessons not just for those on autism spectrum, but for all of us
Life After Lockdown, a collaborative book examining "perceptions of autism" in the wake of the pandemic. Two local women contributed work to it and say that it offers lessons not only for those on the spectrum but for all of us.
