The “Fall Classic” Ladies Golf Tournament was held at Avondale Golf Course on Sept. 11-12. Not only is this a fun tournament for women to connect with other women golfers, but also to raise money for local charities. This year the tournament raised $2,500 each for the St. Vincent de Paul Warming Center and the CDA Backpack Program. In addition, $900 was donated to the North Idaho College Men’s and Women’s Golf Team. Also a special raffle was held where the proceeded went directly to one of the employees of Avondale Golf Course who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
