Courtesy photo Senior cross country runner Gavin Calkins is this week's Post Falls High School Athlete of the Week. Calkins ran a 16:51 at the Battle for the 5009 meet in Cheney on Saturday to become one of five runners at Post Falls to run under 17 minutes in a 5K in the last 20 years. He finished 22 out of 235 runners.
