Coeur d'Alene High's varsity and junior varsity cross country teams competed in the 4th annual Battle for the 509, held at The Fairways Golf Course in Cheney on Saturday. The varsity boys placed third, varsity girls sixth. In the JV race, Coeur d'Alene's girls were fourth, the boys 11th.
