STCU contributes $5,000 for Turkeys & More For the second year in a row, STCU has given a big boost to the Turkeys & More fundraiser to buy turkeys for vulnerable families in Kootenai County. Their $5,000 recent check will assist in serving 1,800 families or 7,000 people for Thanksgiving. Coordinator Evalyn Adams said this wonderful donation will bring the total to almost half of the $51,000 needed for the November distribution. Adams hoped others would contribute by sending a check made out to: Heart Reach Inc., the nonprofit sponsor. Mail to Director Myndi Sizemore, % Heart of the City Church, 722 W.
