Incoming Coeur d'Alene High School freshman Mari Nelson is on track to compete in the 2021 National Junior Olympics Track and Field Championships, despite tearing her ACL last summer. She underwent surgery at the Shriners Hospitals for Children and is back to running her same speed in less than a year.
