On Saturday, Dec. 11, 39 North Idaho Cross Country athletes competed in the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Paris, Ky. NIXC had one national championship team, two second-place teams, one fourth-place team, one sixth-place team, one 15th-place team and nine All-American honors: Summer Dance, London Dance, Finley Taylor, Victoria Howard, Ava Roberston, Payson Shaw, Wren Jackson, Wyatt Carr and Mitchell Rietze. There were a total of 273 clubs represented and 2,497 athletes (1,324 male, 1,173 female).
