Lakeland's Ryan named Gatorade Idaho high school volleyball player of the year
Lakeland High senior right-side hitter Katy Ryan, who led the Hawks their first state title in school history, was named 2020-21 Gatorade Idaho Volleyball Player of the Year.
North Idaho Sports Banquet: Area's top high school athletes, teams, coaches honored
Katy Ryan of Lakeland High and Brooke Jessen of Timberlake won Female High School Athlete of the Year honors; and Gunner Giulio of Coeur d’Alene and Eli Gibson of St. Maries won Male High School Athlete of the Year honors at the 58th North Idaho Sports Banquet on Saturday night at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
UPDATED: Wilkey, Ryan, Neff named first-team all-state in volleyball
Coeur d'Alene High senior Sarah Wilkey was named first team in 5A, and seniors Katy Ryan and Abbey Neff of Lakeland were named first team in 4A.
