The Timbers North FC 09 Boys Green soccer team walked away with second place in the Pend Orielle Cup. On Saturday morning, the team faced off against the Spokane Sounders B2009 Valley Rave. Grant Johnson and Mason Taylor were keepers for the game. The Timbers charged into the first half with a hat trick by Ayden Garayalde and another goal scored by Collin Simon for a 4-0 lead at the end of the half.  In the second half, the got yet another goal by Ayden Garayalde and Ethan Luna with two goals with an assist from Jacob Melun. The Timbers won 7-1. Game No. 2 on Saturday was a 1-0 Timbers win over IYESA B09 Bresson, on a goal by Brooks Judd. On day two, the Timbers beat Flathead Rapids Black of Kalispell 7-0. Grant Johnson had an assist to Archer Coburn for a goal, Rowan Wyatt with an assist to Ayden Garayalde, and a 3rd goal by Mason Taylor.  In the second half, the Timbers boys got goals from Jacob Melun, Jackson Duvall, Mason Taylor, and Mason Taylor, with an assist to Brooks Judd. Archer Coburn, Grant Johnson, Mason Taylor and Jacob Melun teamed for the shutout in goal. In the championship game, Flathead Green scored the lone goal on a penalty kick for a 1-0 win over the Timbers.
