Demonstrators showed up in force Friday morning for an anti-hate rally at the Coeur d’Alene IHOP. Approximately 30 protesters held signs and cheered peaceful messages outside the Coeur d’Alene IHOP, where anti-Muslim activist Brittany Pettibone was scheduled to speak to the conservative North Idaho Pachyderm Club. Pettibone and the club canceled her appearance because of the nearby rally, but protesters decided to show up to support their message.
