To prepare for last week’s national championship, Jake fired 700 rounds over six days during Thanksgiving week. In this photo he shoots at a life-size steel coyote target at 1,050 yards at Rock Lake Rifle Range in eastern Washinton. The range is a training ground for shooters and also plays host to local and national level rifle matches.
