COEUR d’ALENE — Hailey Lyons and Kaylin Donovan each hit two-run homers in the first game as Coeur d’Alene, outscored by Lake City by a combined 24-0 in a doubleheader loss last week, stunned the Timberwolves 7-6 in nine innings in the first game of a 5A Inland Empire League twinbill Tuesday at Lake City High.
