The Chargers seventh-grade Junior Tackle football team completed a perfect season with a 42-0 victory over second-place Timberlake for the league and city championship. Maddix Maciosek ran the opening kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown.  Maddix was also the game’s leading rusher with 125 yards and another touchdown. Zach Johnson rushed for 35 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Sophia Richey also added a score. With tough passing conditions Varick Meredith scored on a 75-yard pass play from Kolton Mitchell. The Charger defense  allowed just 2 first downs in the game. The Chargers are now undefeated over 3 years with a record of 21-0.
