Kiesbuy, left, won the boys' 10-11 age group, making 23 of 25 shots. Pickford won the girls' 10-11 age group with 21 points. Pickford tied for the top girl shooter in the competition but lost the top prize in a two-round tiebreaker. Both Kiesbuy and Pickford will advance to the national championships in Chicago on April 22. The pair from Coeur d'Alene join three other competitors from Idaho to represent Region 8 at nationals. This is the first time Coeur d'Alene has sent two individuals to the national championships, and Pickford is the first girl to represent Coeur d'Alene at nationals. To earn their trip to Chicago, Kiesbuy and Pickford beat the state champions from Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
