The Sting Timbers ‘04 Red boys soccer team took 2nd place in the Performance Cup last weekend in Boise. They defeated the Wyoming JH United 1-0, with Tyler Gasper scoring the goal. In the second game they defeated the Missoula Strikers 5-0. Goals were scored by Tyler Gasper (2), Joseph Sarkis, Alex Reyes and Patrick Du. They then tied the FC Boise Nova Gold 1-1. The Sting goal was scored by Noah Janzen. They played the same team for the championship game, but came up short. The Sting goal was scored by Alex Reyes.
