<p>Robert Singletary, a historian for the Museum of North Idaho, walks through the Post section of Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday. The section was formerly the Fort Sherman Cemetery, where Civil War veteran Ira Doty is believed to have been buried, according to his 1898 obituary. However, Michael Carroll, Doty’s third great-grandson, has been unable to locate Doty’s final resting place.</p>
