<p>Darla Rich waits with her dog at the front desk of the Kootenai Humane Society Saturday to pick up her other dog who was recently found and taken to the shelter in Hayden. The humane society has temporarily closed their dog adoption wings due to a distemper disease that has been recently discovered.</p>
