<p>The Behavioral Health Crisis Center opened Dec. 12, 2014. The facility is open 24/7 and has helped patients in about 240 crisis episodes since opening according to Crisis Center Coordinator Brenda Price. Statistically the center is being used 60 percent by men and 40 percent by women and the average stay is 8.4 hours. The center also provides resources to help direct those in need to the appropriate organizations.</p>
