<p>SHAWN GUST/Press Devin Redfroe, a fifth grade student at West Ridge Elementary School, hikes near a trail while on a field trip at Q'emiln Park Tuesday in Post Falls. Approximately 450 students participate in the event each year that is hosted by the Post Falls Urban Forestry Commission in recognition of Arbor Day. Lessons about local forest habitat include forest health, identifying tree species and other growth, and the life cycle of salmon.</p>
