<p>In this March 23, 2012 photo, Tamikka McCray, 39, holds photos showing her before weigh-loss surgery, during an interview at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. McCray no longer needed to take diabetes medication and insulin after her weigh-loss surgery. Research by Dr. Francesco Rubino, McCray's surgeon at Weill Cornell, and other doctors gives clear proof that weight-loss surgery can reverse and possibly cure diabetes.
