POLLOS/Press Nick Pratt, 16, a Coeur d'Alene High student and first-time blood donor,Êlooks away as Honey Huste, a phlebotomistÊ with the Inland Northwest Blood Center inserts a needle into his vein Thursday during the school's blood drive. The Inland Northwest Blood Center is hoping to receive 315 units of blood to increase its supply due to low donations caused by the cold and flu season as well as transportation issues related to weather. The blood drive will continue today from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Coeur d'Alene High and is open to the public for donations.</p>
