<p>Gas prices at well over $4 per gallon are posted at a station near downtown Seattle and in view of the Space Needle, Friday. With gas prices still topping the $4-a-gallon mark in much of the country and forcing holiday travelers to spend more on fill-ups than they will on hotel rooms, this could be shaping up as the Memorial Day weekend where half the fun is not in getting there.</p>
