Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
TRUMP: It's not a game
I write in response to all the fury against America demonstrated by the players in the NFL. The Super Bowl is played each year and one of the teams wins and unfortunately one team loses! The teams and coaches shake…
BENEFITS: Worried for winter
After the disgraceful resignation of Health Secretary Tom Price and Sunday’s headline, “Food Stamp Benefits About to Drop,” I thought I would reach out to address my own SNAP problem.
COSTS: Death penalty excessive
I see letters here that talk about the cost of incarceration for life versus the death penalty. Incarceration for life is LESS costly. Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty is a good resource that says:
SHOOTING: Can't legislate evil
Whenever a shooting happens such as the tragedy in Las Vegas, you can always count on all the left wing people trying to capitalize on it.

In response to Mr. Knight’s letter of Sept. 29, I am in total agreement. The basic problem is not politics, as those who are most vocal against anything affecting our nation today cannot most likely even spell “pol…
CALIFORNIA: Here we go again
Every once in awhile I read a Coeur d’Alene Press letter to the editor that makes me laugh and cry. Wednesday’s (Sept. 27) example started something like this.
VIOLENCE: Look at Hollywood
The country needs to have a discussion on these recurring heinous events that seem to plague this nation. Perhaps it should begin not with guns, but instead with Hollywood’s glorification of murder and video games …
