MUSICAL: You've got to go
Guys and Dolls ranks at the top of my favorite American Musicals. I have seen productions from London to Ashland and from Sundance to San Mateo. The current Coeur d’Alene Summer Theater Production at the Kroc Cente…
VISIT: Routes to wealth
Ahh…the irony of it all. The Trumps meet the Queen of England. She and her entourage of hangers-on wait for the oaf of outlandish statements and garish presence of the POTUS, fulfilling their required acquiescence …
VOTING: The ideal candidate
In Sunday’s Press of July 7, there were two letters on President Trump. One stated “Resist Trump.” I agree 100 percent. Also add on the tax cut. Dale Hedman of Hayden should have added on the millions — millionaire…
DEMS: Writer a letter
“WORKERS WELCOME WAGE GAINS, BUT COMPANIES FEEL THE SQUEEZE” referring to the Trump tax bill.
BROOKS: Superior service

BREWFEST: Unhappy customers
OK, did anyone else feel totally gouged by the exorbitant price for the Brewfest down at McEuen Park on Saturday put on by the Downtown Association? For $25, you got six small tastes and a tiny keepsake plastic cup…
TRUMP: Putin's particular pal
As Donald Trump embarks on his trip to Europe, Vlad Putin has to be tickled red that his interference in the 2016 presidential election and the corresponding agreement with the Trump campaign would produce such ben…
DRIVERS: Yield to kindness
I totally agree with Reid Harlocker in Sunday’s “opinion” page. People get in their cars and leave their brains at home. I live close to Seltice and I see it every day. They fly by the speed limit signs just to be …
