OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
BORDERS: Protecting them a top priority
Protecting our nation's borders and thus its sovereignty is the main responsibility of the federal government. The federal government has not considered this a priority for the last 25 years. Illegal Mexican nation…
OIL SPILL: Let them deal with it
We are still waiting for the "drill-baby-drill" in Lake CDA. I know we must have as much oil under Lake CDA as they have in the Gulf of Mexico.
ELECTION: Key issue is fairnesss
The Election Challenge is no longer just about candidate Jim Brannon "losing the election by five votes.” It's all about having fair elections, and whether this election was conducted lawfully. It's about whether e…
PLAY: Don't hyde from this winner
Over the years I have seen many fine productions at the various theaters in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, but never one better than the musical version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde now playing at the Lake City Playhouse.

ILLEGALS: Cost cripples Calif.
Mr. Litman, you are right on with your assessment of what's going on in Arizona and California about immigration. I lived in Southern California most of my life. They might have brought cheap labor with them when t…
TRIBE: Pact should be honored
It is disappointing and hard to believe that the WHITE MAN has learned nothing about integrity and keeping his word after giving it.
ILLEGALS: Letter promotes racism
Teri White’s recent letter to the editor probably did more to promote racial bigotry than Arizona’s recent immigration law. When people trespass our borders as illegal aliens they are breaking the law no matter wha…
FOSTER CARE: Kids need your help, love
May is National Foster Care Month, a time to raise public awareness of the nearly 500,000 American children in foster care. These young people are living away from home because their own families are in crisis and …
