Joshua Bungen, 50

| March 29, 2025 1:00 AM

Joshua came to live in Idaho at 2 years old, born the son of Danelle and John Bungen.

While living in Idaho and married to Mandy, Tristan James, their son, was born. In about 2014, he left the Northwest, moving to Indianapolis to enroll his son, Tristan, at Purdue University and pursue his Risk Management career with a national company. He later relocated to Orlando to pursue his career and become an avid traveler, visiting over 80 countries and sharing his experiences on his Facebook page called “Getting Lost with Josh.” In 2023, health complications would severely limit his activities, and he was hospitalized in December 2024. His last day was Jan. 31, 2025.

His living family members include his son, Tristan James of Minneola, Fla.; his father, John Bungen, and family; his mother, Danelle Bungen; and sisters Olivia Blackorby and family and Ashleigh Lindemann and family, all of whom reside in Kootenai County, Idaho.

A small, intimate outdoor gathering to celebrate his life is planned for later this year.
