Child injured in hit-and-run collision in Post Falls

POST FALLS — A child was injured in a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Spokane Street and 11th Avenue about 3:10 p.m. Thursday. 

A vehicle struck an 11-year-old who was in the crosswalk, a press release said. The child sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Police said the suspect was a woman driving a white SUV. Witnesses believe it may have Idaho plates and a multi-colored license plate frame.
