William 'Brett' Eldredge, 61

| March 26, 2025 1:00 AM

Born April 12, 1963 — Passed March 19, 2025

Brett left us unexpectedly March 19, 2025, at 61. He was born in Odessa, Wash., to Marilyn (McKay) Bell and Gary Bell of Wilbur, Wash.

Brett graduated from Post Falls High School and served in the U.S. Navy/Miramar. He then set sail for Hawaii and worked for American Hawaii Cruise Lines. There, he met Janet and sailed for many years until their baby boy, Nick, came along.

Brett was always up for an adventure, whether snowmobiling, camping or searching for that Big Fish. Brett lived his life to the fullest, and his mantra was "LIFE’S A RIDE” … And what a ride it’s been. (There was never a dull moment with Brett.) And I know he did not have any regrets!!

He was a great father to Nick. They were each other’s “ADVENTURE BUDDIES;" needless to say, they were each other’s “best friends.”

Brett is survived by his wife, Janet, son Nicholas, siblings Yancy Eldredge (Tamy), Bart Eldredge (Shannon) and Marlo Eldredge, Gerber (Mike), nephews Austin Gerber, Tanner Eldredge, Chase Eldredge, niece Olivia Eldredge, and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

A public memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 29, 2025, at Real Life Ministries, 1866 Cecil Road, Building No. 2 Auditorium. Join us in remembering and honoring this great man. A dessert bar and coffee/tea will be served afterward.
