COEUR d'ALENE — Lake Coeur d’Alene water levels increased by about 3 feet in late February and have been holding steady at 2,124 feet as of Friday.
According to Avista Utilities, the elevation is about 3 feet below the maximum level it reaches during the summertime.
Avista officials expect the elevation of the lake to increase over the week.
The lake elevation is now at its natural level, where the water flowing out of the lake is limited by natural outlet restrictions.
