POST FALLS — Did you know that one of George Washington's descendants lives in Post Falls?
The Post Falls Historical Society is inviting the public to meet Michelle Fansler to discuss her family ties to George Washington and the Washington family with props, personal and family stories, and even the family's gingerbread recipe.
Fansler’s talk is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Post Falls Library.
The event is being put on through the Post Falls Historical Society in partnership with America250 to commemorate the United States' 250th anniversary in 2026.
