TOWN HALL: CDA Council supports investigation

| March 5, 2025 1:00 AM

Mayor Woody McEvers and the Coeur d’Alene City Council are united in our support of equal protection under the law for every citizen. We set a clear expectation that the laws of the state of Idaho and the U.S Constitution will be followed in any interactions with our citizens.

We support the efforts of our Chief of Police and department personnel in investigating the incident involving a citizen that occurred at the Legislators Town Hall Meeting on Feb. 22 at Coeur d’Alene High School located inside the city of Coeur d’Alene.

As city leaders we have a long history of strongly supporting human rights, civil rights, and dignity for all. Citizens and visitors to Coeur d’Alene can count on these guiding principles.
