I-95: What happened to the plan to reroute it?

Looks like we are looking at another Band-Aid fix for our North-South highway. Now they want to spend 10 to 20 million to fix one intersection and you know it will end up costing twice that much. What happened to the plan to re-route 95 and make it a real highway? Current 95 is a mess, with unbelievable number of stop lights from Garwood to the Spokane River and to think the traffic is expected to double in the near future! This “fix” will just be “kicking the can” down the road! We need a real North-South highway! To the folks making these decisions, spend the money and make plans that work!
