CLN: Why talk down to constituents?

Hanley told his constituents at the library board meeting on Feb. 20 to “suck it up and deal with it” when they expressed concerns about what the board is doing. Trustee Hanley, why do you feel it is appropriate to talk down to your constituents? It is absurd that you feel as though you can communicate in such a childish manner to the constituents that you are supposed to be representing the interests of. You are our representative and your behavior reflects poorly on the community you serve. You should be ashamed of your behavior and owe the entire community an apology.
